**SORRY! THIS BUNDLE HAS BEEN CLAIMED NOW**
Yo NGF bros
I recently bought a Humble Bundle for a good price which included a lot of titles I already had in my library.
I therefore am giving away FOR FREE a bundle of 8 games for PC, i.e. Steam codes for anyone willing to give a phenomenal mecha / scifi story a try.
It's the Muv-Luv visual novel series. It consists of the following games:
- Muv-Luv (2003, consisting of two first games in the original trilogy, Extra and Unlimited)
- Muv-Luv Alternative (2006, the third game in the original trilogy, and probably the best and most renowned of the franchise. Peak cinema.)
- Muv-Luv photonflowers* (a collection of 12 sidestories complementing the original trilogy)
- Muv-Luv photonmelodies♮ (a collection 3 sidestories, one of them being the big-ass and hilarious Altered Fable: A Shimmering Shard of Spacetime)
- Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After 00 (the first part of the phenomenal spin-off series to Unlimited)
- Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After 01 (the second part of the phenomenal spin-off series to Unlimited)
- Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After 02 (the third part of the phenomenal spin-off series to Unlimited)
- Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After 03 (the fourth part of the phenomenal spin-off series to Unlimited)
It is a long read (about 80 hours for the original trilogy alone), but worth every minute for everyone who's in for a surprisingly sophisticated scifi story containing anime girls with impossible hairstyles, mechs, military nerdery, an alien menace in the likes of the Klendathu Bugs from Starship Troopers (in general there's lot of Starship Troopers references here, even in the music), an emotional rollercoaster full of blood, psychological horror, sweat and love, and whatnot. All of the series is fully voice-lined and at some parts even animated - especially Alternative is visually and acoustically really impressive at parts.
For me, alone the original trilogy is worth a 9.5 out of 10. It's also the second-highest rated visual novel over at VNDB, if that counts anything. The only downside is that the first part of the trilogy (Extra) is a tediously long prologue full of rather cringy slice-of-life / romance / humor to the otherwise serious and mature scifi story. If you pull through that one, I can guarantee that this will be a ride you won't forget quite a time (including some very sad and disturbing stuff).
If you want to get into that and enjoy it to the max, please avoid spoilers on the internet like a plague and go in blind.
My conditions:
- I will give this away to any active member (not a sudden newcomer) interested to really read / play through this and not only let it rot away in his Steam library. 😂
- I only give away the whole bundle and not the individual titles
